SKIING IN THE PYRENEES

Just 2 hours away you can find the beautiful ski slopes located between the Catalan and French Pyrenees. Among them we can highlight: Baqueira Beret, El Pas de la Casa and Soldeu, among others.
ROUND ROAD
Road to the Roc de Sant Gaietà. The path is perfect, as it runs along the sea, with magnificent views. It is also very well maintained and arranged, with firm ground, making a route that runs along the land and the coast to the other side.
You will find a lot of vegetation, very beautiful and curious native plants. Rest areas with benches and logs to sit in the shade. All along the way you will find trees, while you contemplate the blue sea and some boats sailing through its waters. At the top you can see the Castell de Berà, which is very nice but not visitable.
BEACHES
In Roda de Bara we can find several beaches. The largest beach, called Playa Larga. An area of about 1100 meters, of fine sand, which is parallel to the promenade. This beach is awarded with the Blue Flag.
In the summer months there is usually a large influx of people, but without getting to notice much crowding compared to other coastal tourist sites.
ARC DE BARÀ
Semi-urban honorary arch erected by testamentary disposition of Lucius Licinius Sura on the route of the ancient Via Augusta. The latest research, based on the analysis of the typological and constructive elements, place its construction at the end of the first century BC. The current image of the monument is the result of the various restorations that have been carried out over time.
Rectangular in plan, the arch rests on two podiums with a plinth. Its measurements are 12.28 meters high, 12 meters wide and 2.34 meters thick. The central opening is 10.15 meters high and 4.87 meters wide. Each of the two pillars of the arch is adorned with pilasters with attic bases, fluted shafts and Corinthian capitals.

The FIC-CAT, International Film Festival in Catalan Costa Dorada is a film initiative that provides filmmakers from Catalonia -and from all territories and countries around the world- the opportunity to screen their films, share experiences and promote the creation from the industry of the country and in the language that is ours. In this sense, FIC-CAT is aimed, above all, at filmmakers, both amateurs and professionals, who have current, creative, risky and innovative proposals.
